Ben Simmons October/November KIA Rookie of the Month
Ben Simmons named KIA Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for October / November.
Collecting what’s likely to be the first of many awards in his NBA career after being named Eastern Conference rookie of the month.
It’s far from a surprise given Simmons’ electrifying start to the season. He’s only the second Australian to win the monthly rookie award after Andrew Bogut did it in January, 2006.
Simmons — already close to an unbackable favourite for rookie of the year honours — has averaged 18.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, 7.2 assists through his first 20 games.
